Magnetic Magic

The magic of Frozen is most certainly the highly anticipated moment when Elsa magically transforms from her coronation gown into her ice dress.

Strategically using rip-away magnetic seams, I was able to construct her custom coronation gown both with gussets for movement and additional ease for wear over her ice dress with additional hidden magnets to hold up the length of the train of her ice cape.

Everyone who attended the production and saw it multiple times would tell newcomers not to blink because the transformation was so seamless.

"Don't blink
or you'll miss it"

Quality  Detail  Texture

It was really important to me that the costumes displayed the ornate detail and regal quality of Arendelle. Embroidery appliques were sourced and applied to our costume builds to visually depict the expected detailing of the royal costumes.

Similarly, much attention to detail was given to each unique character or groupings of characters to truly bring to life this beautiful, animated world. Embellishments, three-dimensional texture, fur, antlers and the like were all incorporated to create bold, fun and lively characters.
